Our Story

Delivering fresh produce direct to your home from our Family Run Farm

We have been running our 156-acre farm in Kings Worthy with a milking parlour and an average of 100 cows in the herd for 8 years. With our 5 children it’s a real family affair, even the little ones get involved.

Our milking herd is a mix of breeds including the beautiful Jersey cows with their lovely creamy milk. We produce a quality milk that can be pasteurised, bottled and delivered direct to your doorstep – you won’t get fresher than that!

This is a new venture for us, which we are very excited about and what better way to share our fresh milk, than with the local community.

You will find our prices very competitive with the added bonus of having farm fresh milk, cream and butter produced right on your doorstep.

The Milk is taken from the cows and filtered into a chilled bulk tank. From here it is taken and pasteurised then separated into the various products : Whole Milk, Semi-Skimmed Milk, Skimmed Milk, Cream and Butter. Bottled/packaged fresh and ready to deliver to your door. Wholesome, fresh and local.

Our cows are very important to us, every single one of them is known to us by name and particularly by character, as like humans they all have their own personality.

We try to have them out grazing on as many days of the year as possible in order to produce the very best flavour and quality milk.

There’s no better sight than seeing them out in the fields grazing with the sun on their backs. In the colder and wetter months, they prefer to be in the warm, dry barn where all the food is readily available for them.

Milking takes place at 5am and 4pm each day and they all know the routine; they’re very intelligent animals and they go to the correct stalls every time.

They say farming is a way of life which is true, but it is also a passion and we wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.

We produce most of the feed and bedding ourselves, so harvest is a very busy time of year with long hours, but as the saying goes “make hay when the sun shines” so when that sun is shining its full steam ahead.
